Physical Education New Zealand (PENZ): Te Ao Kori Aotearoa is a dynamic and passionate professional organisation supporting, promoting and advocating for quality physical education
Reporting to the Board, the Chief Executive is responsible for:
The operational and financial leadership of PENZ
Ensuring PENZ achieves its Strategic Objectives
Maintaining and developing relationships with key stakeholders and sponsors in the education sector
Leading the high performing team to deliver innovative and beneficial outcomes for members and young people
Your Background and Capabilities:
- A demonstrated background of leadership
- Visionary, entrepreneurial, digital and effective communication skills
- Empathy for and knowledge of the value of physical education.
- Strong project management, conference organisation and stakeholder relationships experience.
- Commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi/ The Treaty of Waitangi
- Sound planning, resources, and financial management skills
The Board is flexible to the location of the successful candidate.
