A message from the Board

We are delighted to share with you Rāranga Rautaki our refreshed Strategic Framework for 2024-2027, which outlines our vision, mission, values and priorities over the next four years. This plan is the result of extensive consultation, reflection and feedback from our members, partners and stakeholders, and we are grateful for your valuable input and support.

Our Strategic Framework provides an outline of our intended direction and expresses our commitments to transforming communities through quality physical education. It is guided by our whakataukī:

Hopukina te hau, te koiri, te hou – whakatipua, whakatuarā, whakanuia, whakamaioha. Ei, ko te ao kori e.

(Grasp the source, the sound, the movement – expand it, champion it, celebrate it, value it. Ei, it is alive.)

Our Framework is organised around three priority areas: Lead, Grow and Connect.

Under each priority, we have identified specific focus areas and key actions that will help us achieve our goals and outcomes. We have also defined progress measures to monitor and evaluate our progress and impact.

We invite you to read the full strategic plan overview attached to this email and share your feedback and questions with us. We are excited to embark on this journey with you and look forward to working together to make our vision a reality.
