AdventureWorks offers a flexible professional development program for schoolteachers who want to obtain Outdoor Instructor qualifications.

By completing an NZQA Outdoor Instructors qualification with us you will also become a member of the New Zealand Outdoor Instructors Association. Our program has three levels, designed to accommodate different levels of previous experience.

Our expert instructors provide practical, in-person training workshops, and we offer flexible learning options including our video-based Online Training Platform.

Tūturu is a modern approach to young people’s wellbeing in Aotearoa. We bring together schools and health providers to help prepare students for the complexities of modern life.

Tūturu aspires for all young people to feel connected to and positive about their school. The approach focuses on four main areas: school climate, pastoral care, professional learning and development and curriculum resources for students years 9-13.

Family Planning is New Zealand’s only national provider of sexual and reproductive health services for primary health and sexual health promotion. We are a non-governmental organisation (NGO) operating 29 clinics throughout Aotearoa New Zealand as well as services in schools and through community partnerships. We offer accredited clinical courses and workshops for doctors, nurses, midwives and other clinicians working in sexual and reproductive health, and health promotion courses for teachers, parents and the community.

Family Planning delivers specialist sexual and reproductive health promotion services throughout Aotearoa New Zealand. We work with schools, parents, young people, special interest groups, community groups, professionals and others. We support the delivery of sexuality and relationships education for:

• schools
• alternative education settings
• teenage parent groups
• independent training organisations
• community groups and agencies.

We also provide age-appropriate teaching resources, developed in line with the New Zealand Health and Physical Education Curriculum.

ESA Publications has been a leader in providing quality print educational resources for teachers and learners since 1985. Since our first Study Guides, through to our current range of over 340 books, you’ll find ESA Publications books in most New Zealand schools.

Established in 2017, iQualify for Schools has created over 100 online learning resources which are used in high schools all over New Zealand. Our team brings expert learning design and knowledge of online learning to everything we do.

This professional development event is a collaboration between Physical Education New Zealand and Education Outdoors New Zealand. It will run over two days at Rototuna High School in Kirikiriroa, Hamilton from Monday 3rd to Tuesday 4th July 2023.

This event will provide two days of intensive professional learning to support teachers’ knowledge and understanding of teaching and learning in Physical Education, Outdoor Education, and Education Outside the Classroom.
