Positive (Health and Physical) Education – Balance Truly is Better

Integrating key ideas from Positive Education and the Balance is Better philosophy, this session, presented by David Cournane (Aotea College), will look at developing a positive approach within HPE departments and sports programmes that places the needs of the students first. Happiness, engagement and a positive sense of self will be promoted as more worthy measures of success than academic and sporting results.
