#EinPE Ecological Dynamics Learning theory
The Ecological Dynamics Learning theory helps us to understand human movement as a complex system. It refers to the use of an affordance in an environment (something that’s available to be used by the mover) such as the obstacle course equipment in Chris’ video, that then invites different types of movement choices. Obstacle courses like these that require dynamic and complex movement, allow students to express their creativity through how they negotiate getting from a given starting point to a designated end point. Putting the #EinPE Ecological Dynamics Learning theory, could also include students working cooperatively with their whānau | family in their ‘bubble’, which would also provide a context for students to demonstrate specific interpersonal skills- great for contextualising learning towards Achievement Standards such as 90966 (1.5)
