Distance learning can lend itself to setting tasks where students blog, vlog, or capture what they have been doing to provide to the teacher as eveidence of their learning. Tim’s students not only record themselves but add in the thinking process involved in reflection and interpretation of what they achieve. In Tim’s class, students are working both individually to create a single golf hole at home that they record or take a video/photo of, and collaboratively with another student who in viewing the hole, determines the par (recommended number of shots to be taken) depending on how they perceive the challenge.

The focus of students’ reflections that puts the #EinPE is the value-added to their families from creating the golf hole, and the intrinsic sense of ‘Fun’ for all participants. As with the #EinPE Coin rugby and Projectile motion, #EinPE Reflection and Creativity also acts as a reminder to consider the ‘In’, ‘Through’ and ‘About’ learning possibilities in Physical Education.
