Why do we choose to teach what we do? Whether it’s face to face or distance learning, the ‘Why’ question is vital when it comes to putting the #EinPE in our PE programmes. Shea discusses the K/U.E.S. framework to help make our students’ learning both meaningful and authentic.

K/U.E.S. = knowledge and understanding eg Interpersonal skills, E = what are they going to experience for implementing the IP skills in a collaborative setting and S = what skills are they going to take out of this.

Considering the K/U.E.S. in your planning means the movement context is not simply doing something for the sake of doing it.
