YSAR is the youth training organisation to Search and Rescue and Emergency management organisations. They were a supporter of the 2022 Embracing Change Secondary teachers PLD event in July.

Applications for their 2023 programmes in Auckland, Tauranga, Waikato Central, Thames Coromandel, Wellington, and Christchurch for students aged 14-18yrs close 30 September.
