What’s on top? part 4
What’s on top?
A series of short interviews with physical educators who share their thoughts on teaching, education, and leadership as they move towards the implementation of the NCEA change package.
Andrew Gebbie and Seb Curry, HOF and deputy HOF HPE and Outdoor Education at Rolleston College
Being a young school (currently in their fifth year), teachers at Rolleston College are no strangers to collaboration, programme design and assessment development. While they guide their first year 13 cohort through Level 3 NCEA, the HPE and OE Faculty are determined to champion the aspects of their programme that they hold dear, while at the same time consider how they will embrace what is required to successfully implement the NCEA change package.
Watch this short interview and perhaps consider what your faculty might wish to Cut, Keep, and Create” as you plan towards introducing the NCEA change package at your kura, and how this might reflect best what the needs are of your students.
Watch the video and then discuss what your department might Cut, Keep and Create as you plan to implement the NCEA change package?
